Don't have time? Too tired? Need something affordable? Beans in a jar to the rescue. This will take you 30 seconds to prepare. Low calorie, nutritious, quick, easy, simple and cheap.
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 200g organic cooked white beans in a jar (or any canned beans of your choice)
- 1tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1-2tbs organic lemon juice
- parsley (or any other herbs and spices that you like for flavor)
Instructions:
- Drain and wash the beans. Add them to a deep plate.
- Add the olive oil and lemon juice.
- Sprinkle your herbs and spices.
- Optional: Heat them in a saucepan or microwave.
- Enjoy!
